Hacker attack against the Lazio Region

The Gpi Group reports that the attack on the technological infrastructure (Server Farm) of the Lazio Region has not affected the Gpi software systems involved in reserving Covid vaccines and other bookings handled by Gpi (Contact Center and Front End activities).

As a precaution, these systems have been switched off, in order to facilitate the securing and rebooting of the server farm. The GPI operators of the Contact Center and Front End service are operating managing reservations (excluding the vaccine service) with alternative systems to those temporarily suspended.
