€16 Million Contract Signed
Gpi strengthens its presence in South Tyrol with the award of the project for the new Health Information System, a significant initiative that will enhance the digitalisation of healthcare processes in the autonomous province. The project will involve all four health districts in South Tyrol—Bolzano, Brixen, Bruneck, and Meran—serving a resident population of over half a million people.
The contract, worth a total of approximately €16 million over 48 months, includes a dedicated allocation of around €13 million for Gpi.
Key innovations include the implementation of Artificial Intelligence for predictive analysis of healthcare demand (CUP – Centralized Booking System) and the upgrade of Telemedicine applications with enhanced capabilities for healthcare professionals and patients, alongside advanced tools for real-time data management and analysis.
Gpi, already present in the area with solutions for admissions, e-prescriptions, and medical appointment scheduling, confirms its role as a strategic partner for the South Tyrol Health Authority. This collaboration continues to deliver significant advancements in the digital transformation of local healthcare.
