Global Meeting in Paris: Towards the Corporate Product Division

Rossi: We are focusing on the synergy between Gpi companies. Stofella: We are stepping up with new roles

Driving synergy between the various international companies of Gpi to bring the Group’s entire offering to market, coordinated by a Corporate Product Division. These are the key guidelines from the second Global Meeting held in Paris on September 23rd and 24th.

The event’s title emphasized the essential synergies for strengthening the presence in different markets: “Synergy ON. Amplifying Sales for Global Success”. Everything revolves around Gpi4Med, the suite of products into which Gpi’s global market offerings converge, and which specifically includes Blood products, diagnostics (LIS, Digital Path, and Imaging), Critical Care, and Patient Monitoring.

“In fact, all the Group’s companies must commit to creating synergies and bringing the overall Gpi4Med offering to their markets”, explains Fabio Rossi, International Director. “In this sense, each one has the task of building a business plan for the next three years”.

Paolo Stofella, International Products Director, will lead the Corporate Product Division: “Corporate coordination for sales and presales is necessary to support those entities traditionally focused only on their own markets. Expertise and know-how must be shared. It’s a kind of ‘role-playing game’, where some companies already perform both roles — producers and distributors — but they need to learn how to act in new contexts as well”, he adds.
