The CEO and founder of the Gpi Group, Fausto Manzana, received the honor of the “Order of Merit for Labor” from the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, on October 30 at the Quirinal Palace (the official residence of the President of Italy).
Manzana is one of the 25 Knights of Labor (Cavalieri del Lavoro) appointed by the Head of State last June 2, 2024. Along with the new Knights of Labor, the “Standards of Labor” were also awarded, which include 25 of the best students in Italy.
Manzana emotionally commented: “Receiving this prestigious recognition from the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, was an immense privilege”.
“The Knights of Labor — said Mattarella during his speech — are brought to the public’s attention not only for mere business results. Companies and production realities are drivers of broad well-being for families, develop supply chains, and help grow territories. It is the awareness of this responsibility that makes economic operators participants in the task and responsibility of leading the country”.
